Residential & Costing FAQs

Pricing is fully dependent on panel quality and battery backup capacities. On average, a high-yield residential 3kW system ranges from ₹1.5L to ₹2L, while 5kW systems start around ₹2.8L. The standard commercial 10kW setups range between ₹4.5L to ₹5.5L before factoring in active state and federal subsidies.

Under the national PM-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, residential operators receive substantial direct-bank-transfer subsidies:
  • ₹30,000 per kW for systems up to 2kW string sizes.
  • ₹18,000 for each additional kW above 2kW, capped at a maximum of ₹78,000 for setups ≥3kW.

Bidirectional net-metering is a utility arrangement where your electrical meter tracks energy flows in two directions:
  1. Imports: Electricity drawn from the grid during high-demand nights or cloudy storm periods.
  2. Exports: Surplus electricity generated by your panels during high-sun daytime hours pushed back into the grid.
At the end of your billing cycle, exports are subtracted from imports. Surplus credits automatically roll over to offset subsequent bills.

Technical & Battery FAQs

Tier-1 Monocrystalline panels are built to endure for 25 to 30 years. PowerPlus360 panels are backed by a comprehensive 10-year physical structure product warranty and a 25-year linear power generation warranty guaranteeing the modules still deliver a high 84.8% efficiency in Year 25.

Yes. While optimal peak outputs occur under direct unobstructed sunlight, modern high-density Mono-PERC modules are engineered with advanced low-light absorption layers. They utilize ambient diffuse solar rays during cloudy or rainy storms to generate approximately 10% to 25% of their typical daytime output.

The full timeline spans 4 to 6 weeks. This includes the initial site feasibility shadow sweep, technical blueprint modeling (1 week), physical roof assembly (3-5 days), followed by discom application processing, official plant safety inspection, and bidirectional meter installation (3-4 weeks).
